The 4:00 minute mile was supposed to be unbreakable. Roger Bannister thought otherwise. 3:59.4
Just like Roger Bannister pursued the elusive 4:00 minute mile, all leaders are driven by the staggering ambition to make the impossible happen. In order to out-perform, leaders must continually increase their capacity.
Transformation requires leaders to “find the edge” individually as well as collectively. One must eclipse the current thresholds – mental, emotional and physical – again and again and again. When limits are stretched, a leader develops endurance that enables them to perform at perpetually higher levels.
The evidence based principle that underlies our conditioning methodology is that humans have an ability to create new patterns of thought, action and impact. What emerges from these new sets of behavioral maps is a higher order of performance.
